Life changing
Format: Paperback
This book completely blew my mind as it broadened my horizons on the opportunities to be found in real estate investing from the other side of the transaction...as the lender rather than the borrower. I'd always had some ill-defined goals around real estate investing that I never seemed to get around to. I finally decided to push past my malaise and start educating myself in earnest. Around the same time I started land lording for my father's recent purchase of a 4-plex in Panama Central America. And I quickly realized that while I loved the general idea of real estate as a wealth building strategy, I didn't want to deal with tenants in my long-run real estate investing journey. Then I happened across a post about the forthcoming book from Beth and Alex and I immediately got the sense that I had found my future niche. The book did not disappoint. I was so inspired and saw myself in so much of Beth and Alex's stories about how they came upon private money lending and how/why it fits into their lives. I am an expat living abroad and want to be able to run my real estate business from anywhere in the world without having to deal with tenants, toilets, or termites. Feeling fully inspired and mission-aligned with the idea of private money lending, I delved into the nitty gritty. The book provides just the right amount of detail and actionable information without being overwhelming. I'll stop writing so you can go order the book and start reading IT instead of this review. You won't be disappointed...even if you pursue some other aspect of real estate investing you will understand both sides of the lending transaction more holistically and walk away a better investor.

"Lend Like a Pro, Live Life on Your Terms—The Ultimate Guide to Passive Real Estate Investing"
Format: Paperback
I recently read Lend to Live by Alex Breshears and Beth Johnson. It's a must-read for anyone interested in passive real estate investing. This book brilliantly simplifies private money lending, offering actionable steps to "be the bank" for real estate deals while freeing up your time.
The authors break down key concepts like setting lending criteria, managing risks, and building a virtual team in a way that's practical and easy to follow. I found the C.P.R. private lending method particularly valuable—it's an excellent framework for anyone looking to create passive income with minimal hassle.
Lend to Live provides everything you need to get started if you're seeking a lifestyle-friendly investment strategy that works with any schedule and helps you build wealth. I highly recommend it!

Phenomenal book from extremely knowledgeable authors.
Format: Paperback
Real estate investing can often times seem very esoteric, hard to understand and like you are drinking from a fire hose when you are first getting started. That is not the case with this book. It is packed full of practical and instructional knowledge on an otherwise daunting topic. I have known and worked with Alex for a past few years and she has done an excellent job culminating personal and professional experience into this book. You will not find a better one-stop-shop for your Private Lending needs and I am excited to put the lessons and concepts into practice in my business and life.

Nice intro to Private Lending.
Format: Paperback
The inclusion of the attorneys who manage their loans was a nice touch. Given the scarcity of specialized legal counsel in this field, this addition provides readers with an option for future implementation.
The book itself is a clear and informative read that effectively outlines the private money lending business. It serves as an excellent guide that is sure to inspire new participants to enter the industry.
