Pascal Jolivet 2018 Blanc FuméBy changing the name of his wine from Pouilly Fume to Blanc Fum starting with the 2018 vintage, Pascal is taking the wine back to the its roots. Blanc Fum is the original name of the appellation that was created in 1937 (Blanc Fum de Pouilly) and used by his grandfather, Lucien Jolivet. Blanc Fum translates to Smoky White. Why smoky? Because of the greyish hue (color of smoke) that the grapes get coated with upon maturity, as well as the gun flint

The pair I received (gray) was not represented well in their photos. Mine had a lime green logo which looks silly. They also bunch up very badly when you pull the laces which looks ridiculous. Cheap feeling and look bad when tied. Sending back
