Description
Rusted Earth Mountains (photo print)Rusted Earth Mountains has been my most popular series in the past couple of years. On the original the sky was created using imitation silver leaf for the background. The clouds were then rendered using acid oxidized copper paint to make it patina. I knew from previous work that when I use the acid over the metal leaf it will burn through it in places, so I painted the background black before apply the metal leaf and that gives it an antique mirror
