Sign On Garage, Windsor Locks, Connecticut By Russell Lee

Sign On Garage, Windsor Locks, Connecticut By Russell LeeA stark black and white photograph captures a faded, hand painted sign on a garage in Depression era Connecticut. The weathered text, 'Don't HIBERNATE INSULATE!', with a bear in a den, offers a glimpse into a bygone era of practical concerns and raw advertising. It's a fragment of American history, gritty and authentic.
