The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Check the gap!
Plugs work great. I will say for those reviews saying they got a dud. CHECK THE GAP!!! Both plugs were not at 0.030 as advertised. I gapped the plug and it worked perfectly.
