Description

MEXICANA (HOUSE MUSHROOMS)Psilocybe mexicana, often called the Mexican liberty cap, is a bundle of tightly packed mycelium that can range in size from smaller than a pea to as large as an ostrich egg. The color of the sclerotia appears to depend on the growing conditions and can range from a light yellow to a dark brown or even a blue hue in certain areas. Since they have irregular shapes, sizes, and colors, it can be difficult to identify them based on their sclerotia alone.
